Hilton Head High finished off a perfect 3-0 week with a 14-9 win at John Paul II on Thursday.
The Seahawks also beat the Golden Warriors 18-1 at home on Tuesday and topped visiting Bridges Prep 12-2 on Wednesday.
On Thursday, the Seahawks overcame a sloppy start, as JPII took advantage of multiple HHIHS errors to take a 6-5 lead after four innings. Cassie Ruhl had four hits, scored four runs, and had four RBIs to lead the Seahawks’ rally. Alex Fisher had two hits, two walks, and scored four times, Avery Wagner went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Delcie Swift earned the win, yielding three earned runs while striking out nine in a complete game.
Jasmine Hamilton went the distance in the circle for the Golden Warriors and added a double and two runs. Samantha Reilly had two hits and two runs, Katherine Reilly added two hits and scored once, and MacyAnne Sauls had one hit and two runs.
Against Bridges Prep, Reagan Marchant was a double shy of the cycle and drove in four runs, Ruhl was 4-for-4, and Ayla Clack struck out 11 in a complete game.
In the first meeting with JPII, Margaret Todd drove in six runs and Marchant added five RBIs to lead the Seahawks at the plate, and Clack and Swift combined to limit the Golden Warriors to two hits while walking none.
HHIHS (4-3) hosts Legacy Christian Academy on Tuesday.
