John Paul II’s girls put on a dominant performance in a 7-0 win at Beaufort Academy on Wednesday.
Katie Leigh Floyd scored three goals and added an assist, and Brenna Frank and Alondra Hurtado each had a goal and an assist for the Golden Warriors. Paige Weniger and McKenna Byrne each added a goal, and Bless Hurtado and Abigail Quinty each had an assist.
Quinty and Frank combined on the shutout for JPII behind a strong effort from the back line.
“The last two games the defensive line has done a great job at forcing turnovers and redirecting punts back into the offense,” JPII coach Brian Quinty said.
JPII (4-1-1) travels to Northwood Academy on Friday.
