Joal Fleek scored a pair of goals, including what proved to be the game-winner, as May River held on for a 3-2 win over Richmond Hill (Ga.) on Monday.
Fleek scored his second goal of the night in the 78th minute — just two minutes after the Wildcats had cut it to 2-1 — and the insurance goal proved huge when Richmond Hill converted a penalty two minutes later.
Adrian Villalon also scored a goal for the Sharks, and Matthew Turner made four saves in goal.
The Sharks (4-2-1) will host Beaufort High on Thursday.
