Hilton Head Christian Academy’s girls will play for a state championship on Saturday.
The Eagles overcame a slow start to rally for a 40-29 win over Spartanburg Christian in the SCISA 2A semifinals Thursday. HHCA (24-3) will face Thomas Sumter Academy for the title at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sumter Civic Center.
HHCA trailed 15-11 after one quarter and 17-16 at halftime before taking control in the second half. Jossie Frazier’s 3-pointer to open the half put the Eagles ahead and they never trailed again.
Jasmine Campbell controlled the paint, racking up 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Eagles, while Frazier added six points.
