Hilton Head Christian Academy’s boys opened region play with a thrilling 72-69 double-overtime win over visiting Bethesda Academy on Thursday.
Floyd Hargrove poured in 28 points to go with seven assists to lead the Eagles, and Daniel Harrington and JP Peduzzi added 12 points apiece.
HHCA (3-8, 1-0) hosts Beaufort Academy for another region matchup Friday.
