Bluffton’s girls turned in a dominant defensive effort to claim a 39-28 home win over Ridgeland-Hardeeville on Tuesday.
The Bobcats built a 27-16 halftime lead and held the Jaguars in single digits in every period.
Samari Mitchell had 13 points, eight rebounds and two steals for the Bobcats, and Tatyana Aiken added 10 points, six boards, five steals, and four blocks.
Marlaysia Westbrook scored 15 points to lead the Jaguars.
Bluffton (2-1) plays at rival May River on Friday. RHHS (1-3) travels to Beaufort High on Wednesday.
