HSFB: SCISA All-Star Games Will Have Strong Lowcountry Presence

Eleven area players and one coach have been selected to take part in the SCISA North-South All-Star Football Games this weekend.

Thomas Heyward coach Nic Shuford will coach the South team in the 11-man all-star game, and he will have several familiar players on the roster. THA stars Evan Brazil, Joe Gibson, Timber Hexamer, River Pender, and Bryce Tillotson will take part, along with Hilton Head Prep’s Hunter Hopman and John Paul II’s Freddie Aiken. JPII’s Zach Doe also was selected but will not participate.

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s Max Lowery will be on the opposite sideline, competing for the North team.

Beaufort Academy’s Edward McCormick and Daniel Richards were picked to play for the South team in the 8-man all-star game.

The 11-man game will be played at Orangeburg Prep, and the 8-man game is at Calhoun Academy. Both games kickoff at 11 a.m. Saturday.
