Hilton Head Prep’s boys suffered a tough 49-45 loss at Savannah Country Day on Tuesday.
After beating the Hornets in a close game at home to open the season, the Dolphins found themselves in another thriller in the rematch. It was tied at the end of the third quarter, but SCD sealed the win at the foul line in the fourth quarter.
Haddith Stewart led HHP with 16 points, and Avern Montaque added 13.
The Dolphins (1-1) host Davidson Day from Charlotte on Friday.
