Beaufort High fell behind early and couldn’t close the gap in a 42-6 loss at Blythewood on Friday.
Brandon Edwards gashed the Eagles for 182 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
Jeffrey Smyth and Reed Reichel connected for a 12-yard touchdown pass for the only score for Beaufort. Reichel caught five passes for 50 yards, and Smyth led the Eagles with 96 rushing yards on 13 carries.
The Eagles (3-2) travel to Valdosta (Ga.) next Friday.
