Hilton Head Prep’s volleyball team lost in five sets in a hard-fought match against visiting Patrick Henry on Monday.
The Dolphins took the opening set before losing the next two, then forced a deciding fifth set before falling 3-2 (19-25, 25-12, 25-17, 20-25, 15-13) in a nail-biter.
Ashley Wilmot led the Dolphins with 18 kills, and Isabelle Perry added 11. Wilmot also led the team in digs (23) and aces (3), while Kaitlyn Adkins added 20 digs and Perry had 19. Haylee Hopman recorded 21 assists, and Ella Clark added 18.
The Dolphins (5-4-2) were back in action Tuesday night at Memorial Day.
