HS Swimming: HHCA Finishes 3rd In Opening Meet

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s swim team opened its season with a third-place finish among 10 teams at the Palmetto Christian Academy meet Saturday.

Caleb Eidson led the Eagles on the boys side, winning the 200 IM, placing second in the 50 free, and helping the Eagles place second in the 200 free relay and third in the 200 medley relay along with Theo Sanders, Jack Ussery, and Camdeyn Masse.

Grace Hilton led the HHCA girls, winning the 100 back and placing third in the 200 IM, while Sterling Burd was third in the 200 free and fifth in the 100 fly.

The Eagles will host a meet Sept. 8 at Island Rec Center.
