HSFB: Beaufort High Makes It 13 Straight Vs. Battery Creek

Beaufort High rolled to its 13th consecutive win over crosstown rival Battery Creek with a 48-6 road win Friday.

James Dagin and Amariee Morris each scored a pair of rushing touchdowns, and Jeffrey Smyth rushed for one score and threw a TD pass to Trae Hayward to lead the Eagles. Jaylin Houseal added a long touchdown run in the fourth quarter to make it 48-0 before the Dolphins scored a late touchdown.

Dagin scored two first-half touchdowns and Smyth hit Heyward for a 4-yard score to give Beaufort a 20-0 halftime lead. Smyth and Morris added touchdown runs in the third quarter to help the Eagles break it open, and the defense added a safety before Morris and Houseal broke TD runs to add to the margin.

The Eagles (2-0) host Effingham County next Friday, while the Dolphins (0-2) host Hilton Head High.
