The Hilton Head All-Stars will play for the Dixie Youth Baseball AA Machine Pitch State Championship on Tuesday in Clemson.
Hilton Head suffered its first loss Monday but bounced back to win its next two games to advance to the state championship series against Blythewood. The first game of best-of-3 series begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Hilton Head lost 12-7 to Gaffney American in its first game Monday before avenging the loss with a 3-2 victory later in the afternoon. Hilton Head then beat Delmae 7-0 to advance to the championship series.
The state champion will advance to the Dixie World Series from July 28-Aug. 1 in Lumberton, N.C.
