John Paul II ran its winning streak to seven games with a 12-0 win over visiting Memorial Day on Tuesday.
Adrian Skipper earned the win on the mound and Hayden Jennings and Mark Tigges each had three RBIs to lead the Golden Warriors.
JPII (13-7) wraps up the regular season at home against region rival St. Andrew’s at 5 p.m. Thursday. The Golden Warriors need an eighth straight win to bolster their case for a wild-card bid to the SCISA Class 2A playoffs.
