Battery Creek standout Ta’Quasia Lampkin will stay close to home to continue her basketball career.
Lampkin signed a letter of intent Tuesday to play at Savannah State. The Region 8-3A Player of the Year, Lampkin averaged 13.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, two assists, and 2.3 steals for the Dolphins.
A 6-2 forward, Lampkin reinforces an undersized frontcourt for the Tigers, who went 5-25 overall and 1-15 in MEAC play with a young team a year ago.
