Hilton Head High’s boys completed a season sweep of cross-island rival Hilton Head Prep with a 4-2 win Wednesday.
Hilton Head Prep’s Marcus Ferreira and Evan Hryckiewicz won closely-contested singles matches, but the Seahawks took the other three singles courts and the doubles team of Nate Anderson and Mario Magnan rallied after dropping the first set to earn the clinching victory.
The Seahawks (13-2) wrap up the regular season at Beaufort High at 4:30 p.m. Thursday with the region title on the line. The Dolphins (8-4) travel to Beaufort High at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday for a non-region match.
