HS Baseball: HHCA Holds On To Beat St. Andrew’s

Hilton Head Christian Academy picked up a big region win Thursday, beating visiting St. Andrew’s 5-2.

John Blackshire struck out nine and allowed two runs (one earned) and five hits over six innings to earn the win, and John Burke struck out the side with one walk in the seventh for the save.

Dargan Cherry and Michael Graupner each had a hit and an RBI and Daniel Harrington also drove in a run for the Eagles.

HHCA (12-1, 6-0) travels to Savannah on Saturday for a doubleheader against Calvary Day at Grayson Stadium. The first game is set to begin at 11 a.m.
