HS Baseball: Eldridge Leads Bobcats’ Hit Parade Vs. Jags

Hunter Eldridge homered and drove in five runs to lead Bluffton baseball’s offensive outburst in a 19-1 win at Ridgeland-Hardeeville on Wednesday.

Eldridge was 2-for-2 with a homer, two runs, and five RBIs, as the Bobcats had 12 different players record hits and 11 players with RBIs. Noah Simonsen was 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs, Rakim White went 3-for-5 with three runs and two RBIs, and Anthony Storzieri was 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs.

Tyler Livingston struck out 10 and allowed one run and one hit in a five-inning complete game for the Bobcats.

Bluffton (5-4, 3-2) hosts the Jaguars for the finale of the three-game series at 6 p.m. Friday.
