Ridgeland-Hardeeville’s girls made a resounding statement Monday, dominating four-time defending state champion Bishop England in a 66-41 win in the third round of the Class 3A playoffs.
The Jaguars had lost to the Bishops in two of the past three seasons, including last year’s Lower State final, but they were in control from the start Monday.
Quanajia Drayton scored 30 points, Jamee Mack added 17, and Marlaysia Westbrook had 10 to lead Ridgeland-Hardeeville.
The Jaguars (17-3) will face Swansea at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Florence Civic Center.
