HSBB: HHP Boys Sweep Top Region Honors

Hilton Head Prep’s boys swept the region Coach of the Year and Player of the Year honors in the SCISA Region 4-2A awards.

The Dolphins (22-2, 13-0) will try to wrap up a perfect region season Tuesday night at Colleton Prep, and they were rewarded for their dominance when Jerry Faulkner was named Coach of the Year and junior Haddith Stewart was tabbed Player of the Year.

HHP’s Avern Montaque was named to the first team along with the John Paul II duo of Rashad Battiste and Amere Cherry, Beaufort Academy’s Dawson Coleman, and Bethesda Academy’s Dante Bass.
