May River’s girls locked up the No. 3 playoff seed from Region 8-3A with a 45-39 overtime win over Wade Hampton on Tuesday.
Emma Peluso scored six of her 12 points in overtime and Casey Sullivan also scored 12 to lead the Sharks. Jordan Bigham added nine points, and Chynna Sneed had eight for May River.
The Sharks (11-10, 4-4) will open the Class 3A playoffs on the road against the No. 2 seed from Region 7-3A on Monday.
