Thomas Heyward’s girls started a busy and critical week with a 35-23 home win over Hilton Head Prep on Monday.
Alayna DeLong scored nine points, Gabby Boyles added eight, and Ivy Bryan had seven to lead the Rebels in the first of four games this week.
Kierstin Clark led the Dolphins with 10 points and Julia Gigante added six for Prep, which was short-handed due to illness and a class trip.
The Rebels led just 25-23 late in the fourth quarter before making 8-of-11 free throws down the stretch to seal the win.
THA (11-5, 3-4) hosts Beaufort Academy on Tuesday, while HHP (6-13, 3-7) travels to Hilton Head Christian Academy on Friday.
