Four wrestlers from the Hilton Head Wrestling Club combined to claim six medals in a youth tournament at Richmond Hill High School on Saturday.
Cole Sowers and Ethan Batka each placed in two weight classes, and Brock Cox and Stone Newton also medaled, helping the Hilton Head team place fifth among 11 teams despite having only four wrestlers.
Sowers placed second at 57 pounds and third at 60 pounds in the grade 2-3 division, Batka was second at 51 pounds and third at 49 pounds in the grade K-1 division, Cox was third at 55 pounds (K-1) and Newton was third at 60 pounds (2-3).
