HSBB: Coney Leads Creek Girls Past Bobcats

Battery Creek’s girls beat visiting Bluffton 48-32 on Friday to remain in the hunt for the Region 8-3A title.

Trinity Coney scored 17 points, Ta’Quasia Lampkin collected 10 points and eight rebounds, and Starr Reed had six points and five boards for the Dolphins.

Battery Creek (15-4, 4-1) pulled even atop the region standings with Ridgeland-Hardeeville, which was upset at May River on Friday. The Dolphins and Jaguars square off Tuesday at Battery Creek.

Bluffton (9-11, 1-4) hosts Wade Hampton on Tuesday.
