May River’s girls rallied for a five-point halftime deficit to force overtime before pulling away for a 56-46 win at Wade Hampton on Friday.
Chynna Sneed scored 15 points, Emma Peluso added 11, and Gracyn Dewey had 10 to lead the Sharks. Sneed, Peluso and Dewey each scored four points during overtime as May River outscored Wade Hampton 14-4 in the extra period.
The Sharks (7-8, 1-2) play a non-region game at Phillip Simmons on Saturday.
