HSBB: Campbell’s Hot Hand Helps HHCA Girls Pull Away From JPII

Jasmine Campbell poured in 28 points to help Hilton Head Christian Academy’s girls overcome a slow start and recover for a 56-33 win at John Paul II on Friday.

Tkai DeVore led the Golden Warriors with 14 points and eight rebounds, and Jasmine Hamilton added eight points.

Jossie Frazier added eight points for the Eagles, and coach Kenny Conroy credited Mary Yanker’s defense in holding DeVore to two field goals in the second half.

Both teams face their top rivals on Tuesday, as HHCA (10-1, 3-0) plays at Hilton Head Prep and JPII (11-4, 2-1) travels to Thomas Heyward.
