The John Paul II girls basketball team lost 41-25 to visiting Pinewood Prep on Wednesday.
Tkai Devore had 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Golden Warriors, while Lexie McIntosh added 7 points.
JPII (5-3) opens region play Friday at St. Andrew’s.
