Hilton Head Christian Academy’s girls basketball team couldn’t overcome early foul trouble Friday, falling 53-49 in overtime to Palmetto Christian at the Baron Classic in Sumter.
Jossie Frazier scored 18 points and Cortney Gray added 14 to lead the Eagles, as Brielle McCarthy and Jasmine Campbell spent much of the game on the bench with foul trouble. McCarthy fouled out early in the fourth quarter.
HHCA (4-1) plays host Wilson Hall on Saturday.
