HSBB: Jaguars Open Season In Savannah

The Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School basketball teams opened their season Friday at the Southside Classic Tournament at Windsor Forest High School in Savannah.

The Jaguars girls lost 47-29 to Richmond Hill, while the boys defeated Richmond Hill 65-52.

Jabari Williams scored a game-high 14 points and Damonte Robinson added 12 points, two blocks and six steals in the boys game. William Westbrook scored 10 points, and Rashmel Butler collected eight points, nine assists and four rebounds.

RHHS takes on South Effingham on Saturday with the girls play at 3:30 p.m. followed by the boys at 5 p.m.
