HSFB: Doe’s Big Night Not Enough For JP2

Zack Doe rushed for 272 yards and three touchdowns, but John Paul II couldn’t overcome four turnovers in a 48-34 loss at Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach on Friday.

Doe’s touchdowns included runs of 80 and 77 yards, and Sam Summa and Melik Frost added touchdown runs for the Golden Warriors.

Christian Academy led 13-0 after the first quarter and 20-6 at halftime before opening up a 41-19 advantage early in the fourth quarter.

JP2 (4-4) travels to King’s Academy for another non-region game next week.
