The May River High School girls tennis team moved a step closer to wrapping up the Region 8-3A title with a sweep of Battery Creek on Wednesday.
The Sharks won 5-0 to improve to 6-1 overall and 6-0 in region play. May River has two region matches remaining against Wade Hampton on Tuesday and at Bluffton on Thursday.
