The Beaufort High School girls tennis team pulled out two close singles matches to swing the momentum in a 4-2 victory at Berkeley on Tuesday.
Sophie Bellomy won a first-set tiebreaker and a tight second set at No. 4 singles, and McKenzie Daniel won a three-set match at No. 1 to help the Eagles improve to 8-1 overall and 5-1 in Region 8-4A play.
The Eagles play another key region match Thursday at Cane Bay.
