HS Volleyball: JP2 Tops Patrick Henry In 5

The John Paul II volleyball team won a wild five-set match over visiting Patrick Henry on Monday.

The Golden Warriors won 3-2 (25-17, 20-25, 25-23, 20-25, 15-6), avenging one of their three losses this season.

Marissa Majorkiewicz finished with a team-high 11 kills – surpassing 100 for the season – to go with 12 digs and five aces, while Darby O’Donnell collected 32 assists and 27 digs and Abigail Barker had 21 digs, eight kills, and four aces.

JP2 (8-3) plays at Thomas Heyward at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
