Ridgeland-Hardeeville suffered its first loss of the season, falling 48-12 to visiting Colleton County on Friday.
Derald Nelson and Ronald Zimmerman connected for a pair of touchdown passes, including one that gave the Jaguars a 6-0 lead in the first quarter. The Cougars reeled off the next 42 points, though, and pulled away.
The Jaguars (3-1) host Hilton Head Island High School next Friday.
