HS Volleyball: Dolphins Knock Off Bobcats In Region Match

The Battery Creek High School volleyball team earned a huge Region 8-3A win Thursday, going on the road to beat Bluffton High School 2-1 (25-18, 20-25, 25-17).

Dazanni Hinton led the Dolphins with 12 kills and five blocks, while TaQuasha Lampkin added nine kills and three blocks and Mia DeBardelaben had seven kills and three blocks.

Mackenzie Young collected 11 assists, and Michaux Gee added 10, while Emily Crosby had a team-high five digs for Battery Creek.

The Dolphins play two more region matches Tuesday, hosting May River and Wade Hampton.
