Hilton Head Christian Academy’s girls tennis team defeated John Paul II 6-3 in both teams’ season-opener Thursday afternoon.
The Eagles picked up wins at the top four singles positions and the top two doubles positions, while the Golden Warriors won at Nos. 5 and 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
Hilton Head Christian Academy hosts Beaufort Academy at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort, while John Paul II travels to Beaufort High at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
