Nimmer Misses Cut At Northeast Amateur

Bluffton golfer Bryson Nimmer shot 6-over-par 75 for the second consecutive round and missed the cut after the third round of the Northeast Amateur at Wannamoisett Country Club in Rumford, Rhode Island.

Nimmer, a former Hilton Head Christian Academy star who was named an honorable mention All-American after helping Clemson reach the NCAA Championships last season, shot 1-under 68 in the opening round but followed it up by shooting 75 in each of the next two rounds, missing the cut by five shots.

Nimmer’s next event is the Dogwood Invitational from June 27-July 1 at Druid Hills Golf Club in Atlanta.
