HSBBB: JPII bounces back, avenges loss to Bucs

John Paul II boys basketball bounced back from back-to-back losses to pick up a solid road win Wednesday, beating Bridges Prep 65-55 to split the season series with the Bucs. 

Mark Knight had a big game for the Golden Warriors with 23 points, six rebounds, and five assists, and Christian Tilton played his best game of the season with 20 points and three assists. Jackson Ogden added 15 points and five boards for JPII. 

Zaire Nelson scored 17 points and Damien Bee added 12 for Bridges.

JPII (11-7, 6-5) travels to Beaufort Academy for a region matchup Friday. Bridges (18-9, 6-6) wraps up the regular season at home against Charleston Collegiate on Thursday.
