Whale Branch girls basketball kept rolling toward the postseason with a 59-12 win at Baptist Hill on Friday, running the Warriors’ winning streak to eight games.

The Warriors led 16-5 after one quarter, then shut out the Bobcats for two straight periods to take a 46-5 lead into the fourth quarter.
Kynew Barnwell scored 29 points, Erin Rivers added 11, and Zhane Shuler scored 10 for Whale Branch.
The Warriors (16-6, 9-2) host Charleston Math & Science for a region matchup Saturday before welcoming top-ranked Military Magnet on Monday.
