HSBBB: Rested Warriors roar past region rival Trojans

Whale Branch boys basketball showed little rust in its first game in 10 days on Tuesday, defeating Cross 66-52  at home to maintain its grasp on second place in Region 7-1A. 

Jashaun Gillison delivered a monster night for the Warriors, pouring in 22 points to lead all scorers. AJ Singleton put up 16 points in the victory, and Keith Chisolm added 11. 

Ashton Howard led the visiting Trojans with an 18-point performance. 

Whale Branch (11-6, 7-1) is back in action Wednesday, traveling to region rival Palmetto Scholars for a makeup game.
