Thomas Heyward’s boys took their first loss of the season in a tight contest Monday, falling 55-49 at Andrew Jackson Academy.
Brandon Howard turned in another stellar showing to lead the Rebels, recording 15 points with seven assists. Preston Hamilton and Jordan Mikell joined Howard in double figures, scoring 11 points each.
Thomas Heyward (2-1) hosts Dorchester Academy on Thursday.
