After a hard-fought win a night earlier, John Paul II boys basketball had an easier time Wednesday night, beating the visiting Coastal Hurricanes homeschool program 45-25.
Senior Mark Knight led the Golden Warriors with a double-double, putting up 19 points and grabbing 10 boards. Ian Wilson also had an impressive game, as the newcomer to the Golden Warriors contributed 10 points and seven rebounds, and Jackson Ogden put up eight points and dished out five assists.
JPII (2-0) travels to Memorial Day on Tuesday.
