Karyce Campbell poured in 29 points to lead Hilton Head High boys basketball to a 71-55 win at Savannah High on Tuesday.
The Bluejackets led 16-13 after one quarter, but Campbell put up 12 of the Seahawks’ 22 points in the second quarter as they surged to a 35-27 halftime advantage.
Savannah kept it close in the third quarter, but the Seahawks pulled away as Campbell and Alex Smith combined for 11 points in the final period.
Jayden Gilliam added 13 points for the Seahawks, while Smith scored nine, Matthew Larkby had eight, and Zach Morris contributed seven.
Jermaine Edwards scored 16 points, and Amarion Watson added 15 for the Bluejackets.
HHIHS (3-1) travels to Georgia to face Richmond Hill at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
