Tebrake and crew Aiden Darr won the second “A” race, and that duo as well as the “B” boat skippered by Lucier with Dominic Pepitone and Lila Ferg as crew turned in steady performances in the other nine races to stay near the top of the standings.
John Paul II was dinged by a disqualification in the 2A race, dropping the Golden Warriors to eighth in the open standings and sixth in the points race. JPII bounced back to place second in the third “A” race and finished strong to recover in the standings.
Heritage Academy finished 20th in the open division and 10th in the points race.
The teams are back in action Oct. 30-31 in Charleston.
