HSFB: Eagles, Warriors slip in S.C. Prep Football Media Poll

Both Lowco area teams ranked in the top 10 in their classifications slipped in the S.C. Prep Football Media Poll released Tuesday, even though one of them didn’t play last week.

Beaufort High (4-1) fell one spot to No. 10 in Class 4A despite being idle Friday night, as the Eagles slipped behind Indian Land (4-0). Beaufort begins region play Friday, hosting Hilton Head High.

Whale Branch (3-1) tumbled three spots to No. 6 in the Class 1A poll after a 30-25 loss to Baptist Hill on Friday. The Warriors will try to get back on track when they host Cross on Friday.
