Holy Trinity boys soccer punched its ticket to the SCISA 1A state championship game with a dominant 5-1 win over visiting Conway Christian on Wednesday.
The Mighty Lions raced to a 4-0 first-half lead and cruised to the easy victory, earning their first trip to the state title match.
Levi Dyer scored two goals, Houston Wilson and Michael Smith added a goal apiece, and Holy Trinity benefited from an own-goal. Andrew Jennings and Addison Wilson each made five saves in goal.
Holy Trinity (10-0) will take on Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach for the state championship Friday at Cardinal Newman in Columbia.
