May River boys lacrosse saw its postseason run end Sunday, dropping a 12-8 home contest to Christ Church Episcopal in the SCHSL 4A quarterfinals.
Rob Gadomski delivered a spectacular performance in his final game as a Shark, scoring five goals and adding an assist for six points. Whitt Beebe, Brooks van Esselstyn, and Reece Simonson added a goal each in the defeat while Ethan Sotiropoulos and Rett Harrell picked up an assist each.
Jacob Bollinger racked up six ground balls, Eli Hall was 6-for-10 in faceoffs, and goalkeeper Corbin Wiltse made eight saves.
May River (12-5, 7-2) concluded a memorable season on the lacrosse field in 2021, setting program marks for goals and victories while making its deepest playoff run.
