May River boys soccer got back in the win column Friday with a 4-0 shutout at Lucy Beckham in a Region 7-4A matchup.
Chris Hernandez scored a goal and assisted on two more to lead the way for the Sharks, while Colton Beine, KJ Pierre, and Jacob Madeiros also found the back of the net.
Beine put the Sharks on the board just two minutes in with his seventh goal of the season, and Hernandez doubled the margin just six minutes later. Pierre broke through for his first of the year just before halftime, converting a Hernandez assist.
The freshman Madeiros capped the scoring with his first career goal in the 78th minute, taking advantage of another feed from Hernandez.
Brayden Garcia and Dallas Winston split time in goal, and each made one save to preserve the clean sheet.
May River (5-2, 2-2) returns to action Monday night in a non-region home game against Ashley Ridge.
