Hilton Head Prep’s girls used two hot shooting streaks to pull away for a 54-30 win at Colleton Prep on Friday night.
The Dolphins started the game off with a monstrous first quarter, leading 22-7 at the end of the first period before the War Hawks settled in on defense and pulled within 29-16 at halftime.
Taylor Tomedolskey accumulated 12 points and Rachel Wright added nine to try to lead a comeback for the Warhawks, but the Dolphins had a huge third quarter, outscoring the War Hawks 23-6 in the period.
Haylee Hopman hit four 3-pointer to lead the Dolphins with 16 points, and Emma Moore added 14. HHP made a total of seven triples.
HHP (5-7, 2-3) travels to Beaufort Academy on Monday.
CPA hosts John Paul II on Tuesday.
