Beaufort Academy volleyball earned another big region win Tuesday, sweeping visiting Thomas Heyward Academy.
The Eagles rolled to a 25-12, 25-15, 25-13 victory behind another strong performance from Chase Vaigneur, who collected 15 kills, eight digs, six assists, and four aces in a well-rounded effort.

Claire Tumlin also had a solid evening with 11 assists, nine digs, and three kills, and Mary Hanna Hiers was the defensive stalwart for BA with 23 digs to go with three kills and five assists to help BA bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Colleton Prep on Monday.
Keleigh Bowers tried to keep THA in it with eight kills, seven digs, and two blocks, while Sydney Butler added 13 digs and two blocks. A pair of young players led the Rebels at the serving line, as freshman Lucy Dantzler was 11-for-11 with three aces, and eighth-grader Brooke Smith was 10-for-10 with an ace and 17 digs.
The Eagles (6-3, 3-3) host Hilton Head Prep at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, while the Rebels (2-9, 0-5) host Colleton Prep at 6 p.m. Thursday.
